How long is the booking session, and how many people can apply per login?
The booking window is 15 minutes — verified. How many people one account can cover is where the sources disagree (4 or 5), so that part stays unverified.
In detail
Time limit: verified. The appointment portal FAQ says that once you click “Book Your Appointment” you must finish the whole booking within 15 minutes — Webfile upload, centre, date and payment included. When time runs out the blocked slot is released and you start again. IVAC’s “Do’s and Don’ts” page states the same 15 minutes.
How many people per account: unverified, because the sources disagree.
- the “Do’s and Don’ts” page says up to 5 people per login (the page carries no date)
- the portal FAQ (effective 16 August 2026) says up to 4 — 1 primary and 3 secondary applicants
We do not pick a side by guessing. The FAQ is newer, so planning for 4 is safe, but that is our advice, not a written rule. All applications on one account must be for the same journey — the “Do’s and Don’ts” page says unrelated applications under one invoice are cancelled.
Whatever the number, the preparation advice is the same: write everything down in advance. Hunting for a passport number, trying to recall an address or hesitating over a spelling mid-session is exactly what burns the time. If you are applying for several people together, have each person’s Webfile and passport number ready beforehand.
Check the applicant limit on IVAC’s official page before you apply.
