Will a trade licence without a TIN do for a business visa?
No. The document asks for a “valid Trade License with Tax Identification Number (TIN)” — it must be current and carry the TIN.
In detail
The requirement has two parts, and both must hold.
First the licence must be valid — that is, unexpired. Trade licences are renewed annually, and letting a renewal slip is common. Check the expiry date before applying.
Second it must carry the TIN. A licence without it does not meet the requirement.
Bear in mind that the trade licence alone is not enough for a business visa. You also need a letter from the Bangladeshi firm, a letter from the inviting Indian organisation, a Chamber of Commerce recommendation or membership, and the company's six-month bank statement. Depending on the kind of business you are in, further documents may apply.
