How much is the Indian visa fee?
There is no visa fee — the Government of India does not charge Bangladeshi nationals. IVAC charges a BDT 1,500 processing fee (all inclusive) since 10 August 2025.
In detail
According to the notice on IVAC’s homepage, IVAC’s processing fee has been BDT 1,500 (all inclusive) since 10 August 2025. It is a service charge levied by IVAC, and the first revision since 2018.
The Government of India charges Bangladeshi nationals no visa fee — the visa itself is free. So BDT 1,500 is what you should expect to pay.
IVAC’s fraud advisory says the same: beyond the processing fee, no extra payment is needed to obtain an appointment or to speed up a visa. Anyone asking for money is committing fraud.
On payment, the appointment portal FAQ adds:
- credit or debit card, mobile financial services (MFS), internet banking and Bangla QR are accepted
- payment must be completed inside the 15-minute booking session
- if payment succeeds but no slot is confirmed, no invoice is generated and the debited amount is refunded within the standard reconciliation time
Keep the payment receipt with you when you submit the application.
A correction: this page used to call the figure unverified, because we could not open IVAC’s page at the time. We have now opened it directly and checked.
